United Front — Monk Mission 1: Partnerships
As per our recent announcement and new roadmap developments we were determined to bring on our new Community + Partnerships Manager to lead the charge on outreach, partnership development and opportunity creation for Immortal Monk Holders.
Things have been making consistent and steady progress which can be followed with full transparency on our Public Partnership Notion board.
With this current market, projects are often in dire need of a solid community to collaborate with in order to grow and thrive. We have been in close communication with various projects in the crypto space. From DeFi to Gaming, to private VC funds to see which best aligns with the perks we are looking to provide to our loyal holders.
The Samaneras Have Arrived — Monk Mission 2: New Purpose and Expansion
The long awaited Generation 2 Samaneras have finally arrived and are capable of being minted for solely the cost of gas over at our ONLY official claim link here: https://mint.immortalmonks.com/
There have been some frequent questions in regard to the Samaneras so we’d like to clarify their purpose here as well…
“Why Claim and Not Airdrop?”: The main reason is that many Immortal Monks are still inside of our old staking contract, and we did not want to have Samaneras get stuck within the contract as that would be a detected ETH address upon snapshot. We understand it can be a headache to pay gas on ETH but we put our best effort into a highly optimized ERC-721A minting contract that should cost as little as $15 in gas to claim a Samanera (so long as gwei is not throttled).
“What is the point of more NFTs?”: The main purpose for the Samaneras is to aid in the expansion of our community and provide a 2nd tier of access to the Immortal Monks community. As we setup valuable collaborations and opportunities for holders as previously covered in Monk Mission 1, you will see that Samaneras and Immortal Monks will see different perks and degrees of access. This leads us into the cultivation of Monk Mission 3…
The Path Forward — Monk Mission 3: Monks Going Cross Chain?
As we know ETH gas fees are far from favorable to the everyday investor; especially in DeFi! With so many amazing projects residing on other chains, we are exploring the capability to create unique code structures for reflection tokens and burn mechanisms to make cross-chain snapshots possible for our holders.
