It’s Time To Rebuild. Together.

Monks, we’ve been thinking long and hard after the recent events with the rebasing DAO not performing as we would have liked it to.

We aren’t stopping. We are dedicated to making this a successful project.

Within this announcement we will break down a series of plans that we are going to be executing immediately.

Immediate Plan - Monk Mission 1

Partnerships. We’ve realized that there is tremendous power in our incredible community and we want to ensure we move together, all as one. Our plan is very simple, we are looking to create partnerships with other projects specifically for the IM holders.

You Immortal Monk NFT will be used as an access token to certain features and ‘boosts’ / ‘extras’ on the protocols as long as it’s being held in the wallet you connect. This simply means that 1 Monk NFT can grant you access to an infinite amount of protocols.

This entire operation will be lead by our Admin team and new Community Manager (who will be hired in the coming week) as we begin our partnership negotiations to set up exclusive opportunities, access, pre sales / early access before public and much more for the Immortal Monks community.

We truly believe this is a powerful step forward as it will allow us to not only utilize the Immortal Monk NFT for 1 single protocol but can be used for a vast amount of them. Now the sky is the limit.

Next, we are super excited to announce this new addition to the ecosystem as promised from the beginning and many have been asking.

Monk Mission 2

Our main goal from the inception of the Immortal project was simple; to make Immortal Monk NFT’s extremely valuable for our holders via various different avenues. With our upcoming plans we truly believe we can still accomplish something amazing. We are simply not going to give up because of a slight bump in the road.

We wanted to do something special. Provide something extra. Do something fun and hopefully expand the ecosystem with this plan we’ve been conjuring.

You current Immortal Monk NFT will be able to ‘evolve’ with a Monks Special Tea and your Monk will become a Samanera.

We are going to be giving you the next evolution of Immortal Monks NFT (to all current holders of course).

The Samanera’s are going to be claimable via a secret passage way in the Monastery. As long as you hold a NFT you will be given access to summon your Samanera NFT.

Please Be Aware: Immortal Samanera is going to be claimable and release of this is going to be announced ASAP. We are currently in final stages of design and rendering the art.

We strongly suggest unstaking your Immortal Monk if it is still staked within Monastery Finance as that is no longer active and will have no reason to be kept there. Keeping it there can result in you not being able to partake in future holders snapshots. There is no reason to rush and feel free to wait until gas is favorable.

Now for the question on everyone’s mind… “What good is this Samanera NFT going to do? What is the utility it provides that the Origin Immortals didn’t?

As we build out the Immortal Monks ecosystem (as we planned from the start) we wanted to provide more in utility and value. This is just the start. We have much bigger plans than what is merely outline here as what we are working on is very important to structure correctly because of Mission 3 (which you’ll see in a few moments).

Initially, the Samanera holders will receive private community access and OTHER that will be revealed at a later time. We are currently making sure that it can fit in the ecosystem we are expanding into.

Monk Mission 3

We understand that Ethereum is an expensive chain to be on and it costs way too much to participate in most ETH projects.

With Immortal Monks working on partnerships with other protocols we want to ensure there is room for much more ROI and that gas fees don’t eat up returns instantly.

We are currently working on developing cross chain. Now we haven’t finalized which chain we want to build on first and this is going to be heavily based on what partnerships we are able to gather and what chain they are on.

We would also love to hear your feedback regarding cross chain development and which chain you think would be ideal to tap into.

We are trying our best to move everything forward with everything that has happened. We know we let you down but we are going to keep going and putting in all our effort and do whatever it takes to make this work.

We truly thank those that are still supporting and have given the benefit of the doubt to allow us to build and restructure.

There will be an update regarding the claiming of the Samanera very soon. Everything is being finished and we are going to start partnership outreach ASAP.
